MEK captures regional, state awards

“Very professional. Well-executed. Clearly had a vision.” These phrases were used by judges to describe why the award-winning MEK Group continued a tradition for recognized client excellence with regional and state awards from PRSA. On behalf of its clients, MEK captured professional regional (multi-state) and state peer recognition during the PRSA Diamond and Pinnacle Awards presentations in April (2016). (Smithville Fiber GigaCity launch–MEK scored national industry coverage as well as developing with the client an extensive Web-based digital and direct mail campaign to support the roll-out of Indiana’s first symmetrical gigabit service) and best annual reports (Indiana Rural Health Association — through hospital CEO interviews and research, MEK profiled an astonishing 461% ROI achieved by IRHA for its member network services).

Regarding the IRHA annual report, the PRSA judges noted that it was a “very professional and engaging publication…The pros working on this report clearly had a vision…The report is polished, professional and highlights organizational successes as it should. Well done.”

“Thorough and well-executed…marketing communications”

The judges described the Smithville Jasper marketing program as an “Excellent, quality, and effective marketing communications PR
campaign.” Additional comments noted that strategic planning and implementation of the Smithville GigaCity Jasper rollout was “thorough and well-executed,” with one judge pointing out that the announcement itself was “well-executed with skill, especially in regard to event management and media relations.”
