Hamilton delivers event planning, support for mass vaccinations at Notre Dame, Sellersburg

Hamilton’s deep experience in developing and managing complex events helps thousands of Hoosiers receive COVID-19 in a timely and safe fashion.

INDIANAPOLIS –Hamilton Exhibits is privileged to be helping in the state’s mass vaccination efforts to protect Hoosiers by providing complex event planning and support. This includes the Indiana Department of Health’s large scale COVID-19 mass vaccination drive-in events in Notre Dame, Sellersburg and elsewhere.

Hamilton Exhibits, a long-time family-owned business on the east side of Indianapolis, stepped up to assemble and execute what Hamilton CEO Jason Weddle described as “very complex events with many moving parts.”

“Providing vaccines to Americans is a top priority, and Hamilton is honored to play a part in making this happen,” the CEO continued. “We are prepared to do what it takes to support Hoosiers through the selected vaccine administration sites by the Indiana Department of Health.”

“Working with Indiana Department of Health professionals, we put together a professional ‘all-hands-on-deck’ team and quickly planned out and executed the required set-ups,” Weddle said. “This magnitude of a project may look daunting, but it’s what we do.”

Hamilton tapped its internal planning and management resources and its extensive network of suppliers and vendors to put together the infrastructure for an outdoor drive-through event “that demanded high standards of safety and efficiency while serving thousands of people.”

Hamilton’s team coordinated all activities with IDH and members of the Indiana National Guard, who administered and tracked the vaccines.

For both the Notre Dame and Sellersburg events, Weddle and his experienced team worked with IDH to plan the events and then quickly deployed multiple portable facilities and other infrastructure set-up. Within a short period of time, Hamilton had the large facilities set to receive multiple thousands of Hoosiers registered to receive a vaccine.

The trade industry expects to begin to return to physical meetings in 2021. Hamilton already is resuming its prior industry focus, but now has effectively created a new service offering to support large scale public events like the IDH mass vaccinations.
